How to donate

£10 a month A winter coat – when one is living on a low income buying clothes becomes a rare luxury. Coats, shoes, school uniforms for the children – people have asked us for all of these items and more.

£20 a month A weekly food shop – those on a low income have to live frugally and, once the bills are paid, have very little left over for food. Many beneficiaries tell us that they spend as little as £20 per week on food.

£50 a month Telephone bills – for many of our beneficiaries their telephone is their lifeline and often their only means of regular contact with family who live far away. Other beneficiaries who are housebound find the internet invaluable.

£100 a month Staying mobile – During 2008 NurseAid paid over £50,000 to help with mobility aids such as electric scooters and riser/recliner chairs. These items help people to remain mobile and independent helping their dignity and quality of life.
