Legacies

Why not leave your mark on the future by giving a donation to NurseAid in your will? It is a gift which can help those people who have devoted their lives to helping others. We need your support to support them in times of need.

Your thoughtful act can help future generations of nurses to know that through your generosity, NurseAid is there to help them when they need support themselves.

There are a number of different types of legacy gift (bequest) you can make.

NurseAid can provide you with useful information on legacies and making or changing your will. We would be happy to send you our legacy pack (click here), or call Donna on 01527 595999 or her.

Why make a will?

Making a Will is something that most of us put off doing; it seems complicated or we are too young, or we can always do it tomorrow.

But if we want to be sure about how our money and belongings are distributed when we die, then it is vital to make one - for our own sakes and for those of our family and friends.

Writing your will

You can write your Will yourself, but a Will is a legally binding document and so we would recommend that you use the services of a professional to assist you through what can sometimes be a complex process.

In addition to drafting your Will, a qualified lawyer will also be able to advise on ways of reducing your inheritance tax liability - for instance, by making tax-exempt gifts in your lifetime and donations to charities like NurseAid.

Donations in lieu of flowers

These days many people are asking that a donation be given to a charity instead of flowers at a funeral. This is another way you could help NurseAid - see our In Memoriam page.
