Offering financial support for Nurses

NurseAid, the 'Edith Cavell fund for Nurses' is the national charity helping nurses in need of financial help and support.

We can assist all nurses registered with the UK Nursing and Midwifery Council, NMC, (together with retired nurses), health care assistants, (auxiliaries), and student nurses, who are in need of financial help and support and who meet our criteria, throughout England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

We believe that no one who is, or ever was, a nurse should suffer hardship. Our aim is to alleviate any such hardship. We do this by giving help and financial support to working and retired nurses, student nurses and health care assistants facing difficult times.

It could be an illness or injury causing early retirement or a long period of absence, family breakdown or other significant problems.

We work with the Royal College of Nursing, (RCN), Unison and other charitable organisations to provide help in a difficult time.
